Banking hubs in Northern Ireland

Published on 29 September 2025

Our banking hubs bring everyday cash and banking services closer to you.

What is a banking hub?

A banking hub is a shared banking space on the high street that offer a counter service where customers of all major banks can carry out regular cash transactions, Monday to Friday. They also offer a community banker service where customers can talk to their own bank about more complicated banking issues on the day their bank is in the hub.

At each hub you'll find:

Banking hub counter

This is open to customers of all major banks, for cash withdrawals, deposits, bill payments and change-giving services, Monday to Friday.

Community banker meeting room

This is a private meeting room for you to speak with someone face-to-face with your bank, on the day they're in the hub.

Writing desk

A place where you'll find forms and information relating to the services at the hub as well as services from your bank. Here you can fill out envelopes to pay in cheques as well as other documents you may need to whilst in the hub. Pens are provided.

Banking hub seating area

An area for customers to sit and wait to be seen or complete necessary paperwork.
