The official opening will take place on Friday 24th April at 11am with Linsey Farnsworth, MP for Amber Valley attending to cut the ribbon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The trial is being led by Cash Access UK, who have helped open more than 230 banking hubs across the UK including in Derbyshire’s Ashbourne, Bakewell and Belper.
Customers of the UK’s biggest banks – AIB NI, Bank of Ireland UK, Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Danske Bank, first direct, Halifax, HSBC, Lloyds Bank, NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander, TSB, Ulster Bank and Virgin Money can easily access cash and everyday banking services every weekday between 9am and 5pm. Whenever the Cash Services branch is open, customers of these major banks will be able to withdraw and deposit cash, check their balance and access change services. The new Cash Service also has an external free to use cash machine.
A member of the team from Cash Access UK will also be on hand to provide support to customers. The highly experienced team, who have all been recruited locally, will provide a friendly face and can support with banking queries as well as signpost and connect customers to the most appropriate support from their bank.
