Join us for an information open day at Kilkeel Banking Hub! If you’d like to learn more about how the banking hub works and the services available - pop along on Wednesday 12 November and chat to the team. We'll be at the hub between 10am and 2pm to answer your questions. We will also be joined by the Consumer Council for Northern Ireland and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
- My bank doesn't provide a community banker service at this hub. Can I still use the hub?
Yes. Customers of all major banks and building societies can access cash services from the banking hub counter, which include:
- pay in cash (notes and coin) and cheques
- withdraw cash (notes and coin)
- check your balance
- pay utility bills
- top up your gas and electricity
- access change-giving services (for registered businesses)
- Why isn't my bank providing a community banker service at this hub?
Community bankers are usually provided by the banks with the
most customers in the local area. - Can I only use the hub on the day my community banker is present?
No. Customers of all major banks and building societies can access cash services from the banking hub counter, which include:
- pay in cash (notes and coin) and cheques
- withdraw cash (notes and coin)
- check your balance
- pay utility bills
- top up your gas and electricity
- access change-giving services (for registered businesses)
You can also talk to a community banker from your bank on the day your bank is in the hub. There is a private space where you can talk face-to-face about more complicated banking enquiries like payments and transfers, managing your account, and how to use online banking.
